Artist/Gallery notes
This is one of three paintings that I did from memory of my favourite view of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. I wanted the paintings to somehow represent the seasons. This is winter or maybe autumn with the wind whistling through the trees scattering their leaves to pattern the ground. The boat rides the choppy waves and the whole world is full of movement. No still point in this turning world of strong dynamic marks. As I struggle to capture the beauty of existence in a chaotic world.
