Artist/Gallery notes
GALLERY: One of Jeremy's most exuberant paintings in which colours, paint and confused chaos take over. ARTIST: "This was painted sitting behind my car on the verge of a road in the Swan Valley. As I drove I saw this group of buildings with the trees behind and the vines in front and felt that I wanted to paint it. When I stopped there was an attractive blonde woman working amongst the buildings and I was a little bit worried that she might think that I was 'casing the joint'. Soon I was working with vigour and enthusiasm as the painting took over. Back in my studio, I combined enamel house paint with the oil paints to achieve the richness that the work needed"
