GALLERY: This work shows the scratchy patterns of the half tamed WA countryside. It is painted with strong brush strokes and delicate transparent glazes. ARTIST: "We went for a trip to the Wheat Belt of WA which is about 100 kms East from our property. This was the view from a 4WD track through the bush along the edge of the wheat fields. I love the way the trees tumble down the slopes into the valleys. The field in front of us was pretty scruffy with blackboys (tree grasses) and outcrops of boulders."
